Why I’m Confident in My World-Building Journey

Some might look at my projects and think I’ve taken on too much, but I like to remind them: Rome wasn’t built in a day. I’m fully aware that building something meaningful takes time, patience, and continuous effort. That’s the essence of world-building…. layer by layer, piece by piece, creating something that reflects my passions and expertise.

But let me give you some context about why I’m confident in this process:

I’ve faced big challenges before. I gave birth to four children in just 4.5 years. When they were 2, 4, 5, and 6, I went through a divorce. With no time to dwell on the difficulties, I went back to massage therapy school, and shortly after graduating, I moved six hours away from any family support to a city where I knew just three people.

Despite the odds, I raised my children with a strong foundation, navigating life as a solo-parent in a new city. Now that my youngest has graduated high school, I have more time to dedicate to my passions. I’ve also maintained a 13-year relationship where we’ve lived in separate households, which has given me the space and autonomy to focus deeply on my projects.

For years, I haven’t had much of a social life… my time and energy were devoted to my family and work. So now, with this newfound freedom, I’m fully immersed in building my world. I don’t know exactly how long it will take to reach my financial goals, but I trust myself. I’ve proven to myself time and again that I can persevere, adapt, and thrive despite the challenges.

This world I’m building is a reflection of my journey, resilience, and creativity. It’s not just a project; it’s the culmination of everything I’ve learned and experienced. I’m in it for the long haul, and I have no doubt I’ll get to where I want to be.
